Gig is the service that you sell on Fiverr. Creating your Gig is an opportunity to show your talent and provide buyers with all the information they need to help them decide to do business with you. Fiverr is updating its algorithm but you know this is the base to create an optimized gig so any new algorithm update come your gig could work easily there. So, it will definitely helpful for you in 2021, 2022 and so on in future... Here I will show you, how I create an optimized fiverr gig in 2021 and I will create the fiverr gig in 2022 in same way so I have to make small changes which fiverr will offer in 2022.

To create a Gig:

After you log in, click "Switch to Selling" and then click Gigs.

Click CREATE A NEW GIG.

STEP 1: Overview

1. In the GIG TITLE field, write a title of up to 80 characters.
Your title should be short, clear, and to the point.

Note: The "I will" is standard for all Gigs and cannot be removed, so make sure your title starts after “I will” so that it is grammatically correct.

In the CATEGORY drop-down menu, select the appropriate category and then subcategory for your Gig. Fiverr recommends categories and subcategories based on your title. So select the correct category or you can choose from the Fiverr recommendations, just click the best relevant link. It helps to be in Fiverr searches done by buyers.
For example, if your service is Logo Design, select Graphics & Design > Logo Design.

Note: You can’t change your Gig's category after it is published but only you can change subcategories, so choose the category carefully and make sure the category matches the services you're offering; moreover it also helps in showing buyer requests according to your category and subcategory and also work for service type there are some optional suggestions as per your service so choose them carefully.

2. In the GIG METADATA area, select the relevant criteria for each topic.

Note: This feature is only available for certain categories.

3. In the SEARCH TAGS field, add one to five words or phrases maximum 20 characters that best describe your Gig. These tags really help you to get ranking in Fiverr searches.

4. Click Save & Continue.

STEP 2: Scope and Pricing

1. In the name your package, write a title best describing service you are offering.

2. Describe the details of your offered services in the space provided for description.

3. In the Delivery Time drop-down menu, select the number of days that will take for you to complete your Gig’s order.

4. In the Revisions drop-down menu, select the number of revisions you include in your Gig. This is not essential, but it is recommended for gigs where customization or creation is done.

5. In Price drop-down menu, select a price for your service (ranging from $5 to $995).

3 Price Packages

In certain categories, you have the option to create three packages. Just click to turn on 3 Packages or click Try Now.

If you create three packages, your customized extra services will be available to buyers when they proceed to the checkout page.

Adding Extra Services

In Service Extras select the various items you would like to include in your service (Extras). This depends on the type of service you are offering. For example, if you are offering logo design services, you can select from a predefined list of items, such as the number of logos to include, the source files, or a high-resolution file.

Note: With extra features you could make your basic order to a good price order. For example; I am offering vector design service and my basic package is $30 and delivery time is 3 days, and I have added extra features like fast delivery in 1 days for extra $20, source file for extra $20, 2 more revisions for extra $10, so you can see that my basic package could be of $80 if buyer select these features. Try to make extras really value added features. It could increase your price per order.

Shipping & Handling
If you are offing to ship a product, you can charge shipping fees.

Select the checkbox, and select how much you charge to a specific country and then to everywhere else.

Note: If you have multiple orders enabled, you can select how much you charge.

6. Click Save & Continue.

STEP 3: Description and FAQ

1. In the Description field, briefly describe your offered service (up to 1200 characters). Write about your service regarding this gig and describe how you do this for buyers and why buyers buy your service. With your description buyer could know if your service meets to their needs.

Note: Don’t use any URL for your portfolio but use the 3 images, one video and 2 PDFs for your portfolio show up. Do put your contact information on your images or in your video or on PDF. Be careful, your gig could be declined by fiverr experts who are checking every time your gig samples and gig texts.

2. In the Frequently Asked Questions area, click Add FAQ.
Here, you can add your pre answered questions for the buyer or visitors to your service to get better knowledge about your service. You should add questions you think buyers may ask, and then write your answer. It helps to clarify the buyer before making an order and helps to reduce the risk of order cancellation. Your FAQs will be displayed in your gig page after description and your profile summary.

3. When finished adding your FAQs, click Save & Continue.

STEP 4: Requirements

Tell your buyer what you need to start the order. You can define instructions for your buyer as free text, a multiple-choice question, or a file upload.

1. In the first requirement field, enter the details of your requirement.

2. In the Answer Type field, select either free text, multiple answer choice or attach a file.
Note: If you select Multiple Answer, answer fields will be displayed. Fill out the multiple-choice answers you want the buyer to answer. You also have the option to allow more than one answer.

3. If you require some information must from the buyer you can selected Answer is mandatory checkbox.

4. When you've finished defining your buyer requirements, click Save & Continue.

STEP 5: Gallery

1. In the Gig Photos area, drag an image or click Browse and select an image from your pc/ laptop Upload up to three photos that describe or relate to your Gig with minimum dimension of 550x370px but the perfect size for fiverr gig image is 600x400px. The photos can be samples of your work or describe your service like an social media ad image. Each image should be in JPEG, PNG, GIF, or BMP format, and up to 50 MB. The Gig must have at least one image uploaded to be published.
The image should be owned by you. Do not use copyrighted images or images downloaded from the internet; otherwise, your Gig won't be approved.

2. In the Gig Video area, drag a video or click Browse and select a video.
Notes:
- This field is mandatory for the Video & Animation category, but optional for all other categories. Make sure your video is no longer than 75 seconds and is less than 50 MB. We recommend that you mention that your services are offered exclusively on Fiverr.
- Once you add a video, it will be used for the thumbnail in the marketplace (in place of the Gig photos you upload).
- Do not add contact information on your Gig's video.

3. In the Gig Audio area, drag an audio file or click Browse and select a file.
Notes:
- This option is not available in all categories.
- Supported formats are mp3 and MPEG. Make sure your audio is no longer than 3:30 and less than 10 MB.

4. In the Gig PDF area, drag a PDF or click Browse and select a PDF. You may upload up to two PDF files.
Note: This field is optional. Only the first three pages of your PDF will be displayed.

5. Click Save & Continue.

STEP 6: Publish

Publishing and Promoting Your Gig

1. Click Publish Gig.
You will see various social networks on which you can promote your Gig. To promote your Gig, just click an icon and fill out the details.

2. Click Done.

Note: If your Gig contains a video, its status will be pending until your Gig video is reviewed. If your Gig does not contain a video, it will be labeled Active.

To edit a Gig:

1. After you log in, from the Selling menu, click Gigs.

2. Find the Gig you'd like to edit, and from the drop-down list on the right, select Edit.

3. Make the changes you want to make and click Save.
